लंदन। 15 साल की एक स्कूली लड़की महंगी वेश्या के रूप में लगभग एक लाख पाउंड सालाना कमा रही थी। यह किशोरी दिन में तो रूकूल जाती थी पढ़ने के लिए लेकिन किसी के साथ रात बिताने के लिए वो सैकड़ों पाउंड वसूल करती थी। लड़की का नाम उसकी उम्र की वजह से नहीं बताया गया है लेकिन समझा जाता है कि वह ग्राहकों को महिला साथी उपलब्ध कराने वाली किसी एस्कॉर्ट एजेंसी के लिए काम करती थी।
उसने एस्कॉर्ट एजेंसी से झूट बोलकर अपनी अपनी उम्र 18 साल बताई थी क्योंकि वह अपनी उम्र से बड़ी दिखाई देती है। वह रात के वक्त और सप्ताहांत में काम करके हर हफ्ते कम से कम 1700 पाउंड कमा रही थी। उसके दोहरे जीवन का भांडा उसकी एक टीचर को शक होने पर खुला। टीचर ने स्कूल बैग की तलाशी ली तो उसमें कंडोम, उसके दलाल का कार्ड और उस एजेंसी का विवरण भी मिला जिसके लिए वह काम करती थी।
इस बारे में स्कूल ने तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी और उसके मां-बाप के घर की तलाशी में उसके द्वारा छिपा कर रखे गए 8060 पाउंड मिले। पुलिस अधिकारियों का मानना है कि उसे दो माह में 14,000 पाउंड मिले थे लेकिन बाकी 6000 पाउंड बरामद नहीं हुए हैं। पहले तो बाल-वेश्यावृत्ति को प्रोत्साहन देने के संदेह में उसके मां-बाप को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया लेकिन कोई सबूत न मिलने पर उन्हें रिहा कर दिया गया है।
एक लाख पाउंड की कमाई
पुलिस ने बताया कि यदि वह पकड़ी नहीं जाती तो एक साल में ही 84000 पाउंड कमा लेती। पुलिस को यकीन है कि उसकी कमाई की संभावना को देखते हुए कहा जा सकता है कि उम्र के बढऩे के साथ ही वह ज्यादा ग्राहकों का मनोरंजन कर एक लाख पाउंड से भी ज्यादा कमाने लगती। पूर्वी यूरोप मूल की इस लड़की को बाल संरक्षण संस्था के हवाले कर दिया गया है। पता चला है कि वह कुछ साल पहले ही अपनी मां के साथ इंग्लैंड आई थी।
