पहली नजर में यह फोटो कृष्ण भगवान के जन्म की लगती है कि देवकी और वासुदेव उन्हें कंस से बचाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं लेकिन दरअसल इसमें यीशू मसीह का जन्म दिखाया गया है. ये तस्वीर छपी है बाईबल के भारतीय़ संस्करण में. जिसे मुंबई के सेंटपॉल पब्लिकेशन ने देश में पहली बार बाईबल को भारतीय़ परिवेश में लांच किया है. इसमें सरल भाषा में चित्रों के जरिये बाईबल को समझाया गया है. इसकी खास बात ये है कि इसमें ज्यादातर चित्र भारतीय वेषभूषा में हैं. कहीं हिंदुस्तानी मां की अपने बेटे से आशाएं दिखाई गई हैं तो कहीं रिक्शेवाले को दिखाया है कि वो दुनिया को अन्न पहुंचाता है. लेकिन खुद वो भूखा सोता है.इस बाइबल को लिखने में देशभर के स्कॉलर्स ने बीस सालों तक मेहनत की है. लगभग ढाई हजार पेजों की इस किताब की कीमत ढाई सौ रुपए है और महीनेभर में ही इसकी डेढ़ हजार प्रतियां बिक चुकी हैं.गौरतलब है कि लगभग बीस साल पहले फिलीपींस में बाइबल का स्थानीय संस्करण सबसे पहले लांच किया गया था. उसके बाद से ही बाईबल के भारतीय संस्करण की तैयारियां शुरू कर दी गई थीं.
