महंगाई जिससे 90 करोड़ से अधिक लोगो का जीवन त्रस्त हो गया है लोग भूखो मर रहे हैं। उसकी चर्चा हमारे देश की संसद में हुई तब जब जमाखोरों, मिलावटखोरों ने अथाह मुनाफा कम लिया । संसद नहीं बोली क्योंकि वह चाहती थी कि जिनके चंदे से उनकी पार्टियां चल राही हैं वह मुनाफा कम लें और जनता में भी उनकी छवि थोड़ी-बहुत ठीक रहे तो महंगाई पर चर्चा कर ली । दोनों हाथों में लड्डू होने चाहिए । माननीय सांसदों ने यही किया। संसद में लगभग 300 सदस्य उद्योगपति हैं या आर्थिक आधार पर अरबपति से ज्यादा मजबूत स्तिथि वाले लोग हैं। उनको महंगाई की पीड़ा से कोई लेना देना नहीं है। संसद में मेहनतकश तबको का प्रतिनिधित्व कम है। उनकी आवाज का कोई भी अर्थ वहां नहीं रह जाता है। शशि थरूर से लेकर तृणमूल कांग्रेस के संसद को 5 स्टार बिलों को देखकर यह लगता है कि ब्रिटिश साम्राज्यवाद के ज़माने से राजा महाराजाओं कि शानो शौकत इनके आगे फीकी है। जनता को अपना प्रतिनिधि चुनते समाये विभिन्न तरीके से बरगलाने में यही लोग सक्षम होते हैं ।

Let the medium of education in primary schools be the native language (not Hindi, not mother tongue, but the language of the street).
Most Hindi supporters bring up the national language debate, but it is irrelevant and a waste of energy. What we need is, first and foremost Hindi has to be dominant in Hindi states.
I think we are justified in touching just the primary schools for now - that is the most important phase of education. Let us not touch high schools and colleges till we fix primary schooling. English can still be taught as a subject - let it not be our enemy.
